FAQ
What ages is this for?
Ages 3+. The puzzle is certified 3 and up. It's especially powerful for ages 3–6 when kids are starting to imitate writing.
What's in the box?
One 11.8 by 11.8 inch wooden board and 27 individual letter pieces — all 22 Hebrew letters plus all 5 sofiot. Each piece has the engraved stroke-direction guide carved into the wood.
How are the engraved arrows useful?
Hebrew writing has a correct order and direction for each letter, and that order matters for legibility and reading fluency later. The arrows let your child trace the right path with a finger before ever picking up a pencil.
How is this different from the bath letters?
The bath set teaches recognition. The wooden puzzle teaches writing. They're Step 1 and Step 2 of the same system, use them together for the strongest result.
Is it safe and durable?
Solid wood, non-toxic paint, splinter-free finish, CE and UKCA certified. Built to survive nightly use and pass down to younger siblings. Adult supervision recommended; small parts mean ages 3+ only.
Why does the SLP credential matter?
Yifat is a speech-language pathologist (MS candidate, NYU). The letter scale, board layout, and stroke directionality are based on fine-motor development research, not just what looks pretty.
